Why it happens and what we're after

Overheating tyres (HUD orange/red): lower pressures to reduce core temperature and reduce camber slightly to spread the heat.

What to change, exactly

Ranges, steps and defaults are the REAL ones for this sim. The amount is expressed in the game's own unit so you can apply it without converting anything.

Parameters flagged as “estimated range” do not come from a verified in-game capture: the direction of the change is right, the exact magnitude may differ on your car.

  1. 1.Front tyre pressure

    Lower ↓ by 0.6 psi6 slider stepsestimated range

    Range: 18.0 – 35.0 psi · Default: 26.0 psi

    Sets how much of the tyre contacts the road. In AC EVO the HUD colour-codes pressure: blue (cold), green (optimal) and orange/red (hot). Aim for the green zone when hot.

    What changes when you move it this way

    More contact patch and mechanical grip, absorbs bumps better, but builds more heat from flex and the response gets vague.

  2. 2.Rear tyre pressure

    Lower ↓ by 0.6 psi6 slider stepsestimated range

    Range: 18.0 – 35.0 psi · Default: 25.5 psi

    Same as front but on the rear axle: affects traction and rear stability. Use the HUD colour guide to hit the hot target.

    What changes when you move it this way

    More traction and rear stability, until pressure drops so low it overheats and the response gets mushy.

  3. 3.Front camber

    Raise ↑ by 0.1 °1 slider stepestimated range

    Range: -5.0 – -1.0 ° · Default: -4.0 °

    Wheel lean seen from the front. More negative loads the tyre better as the car rolls in a corner, giving more lateral grip.

    What changes when you move it this way

    Toward 0 (less negative) improves braking, straight-line traction and even wear, but lowers grip while loaded.

  4. 4.Rear camber

    Raise ↑ by 0.1 °1 slider stepestimated range

    Range: -4.5 – -1.0 ° · Default: -3.5 °

    Rear axle camber: controls how much lateral grip the rear has in corners. The front/rear camber balance affects under/oversteer.

    What changes when you move it this way

    Toward 0 improves acceleration traction but the rear grips less laterally.

How to apply it without losing your afternoon

  1. 01Change ONE thing at a time and run three clean laps before judging. Two changes at once and you no longer know which one worked.
  2. 02Start with the first parameter on the list: they are in the order the engine applies them, from the one with most authority to the fine tuning.
  3. 03If the change goes the right way but falls short, repeat the same step again before touching another parameter.
  4. 04If it gets worse, put it back. A setup you don't understand is slower than a baseline you do.

Where this sim stores its setups

AC EVO (Early Access) saves setups in-game as 'Setup Presets' (create/name/save), under Documents/ACEvo, but as of June 2026 it has no file import/export for setups: copy the values by hand into the in-game editor.
